I decided to add Birth Doula to my services offered, not as a job, but as a passion. I have always been so in love with mothering and babies. After having babies of my own, I truly realized the absolute miracle of birth. I want to help Mamas have the THEIR very best experience and I want partners to be right by her side. I in no way would ever take the place of the partner, I am an added support through your journey. That said, partners play a huge role and also need to be taken care of. That is where a Birth Doula becomes so beneficial. I am here to help the family unit. My goal for every family is to offer continuous emotional, physical and mental support for both Mama and partner during the labor and delivery. There are so many opinions on “how” birth should go. I aim to educate each family on how they would like their birth to evolve. Every woman is different, every birth is different, and every birth is so personal. I encourage families to drown out the external voices in their lives and to focus on THEIR birth story.

My services include being on call for 4 weeks (2 weeks prior to the due date and 2 weeks after the due date). I offer 1-2 prenatal visits and 1 postpartum visit within 2 weeks of delivery. I offer essential oil blends to ease the discomforts of pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. My discipline in massage, comes as a great compliment to the labor and delivery journey.

I am able to help Mama and partner with the basics on newborn care, breastfeeding, and adjusting to life with baby(babies).

When out of my scope of practice, I am happy to offer resources for postpartum recovery and support.
